Our Story
Rooted in Revival,
Moving Forward in Faith
Revive Church is a family-centered, Spirit-led community with deep roots in DeSoto. Our story began in the 1940s during a tent revival where men and women gathered with a simple, burning desire: to bring Jesus to a lost and dying world. That same mission still defines us today.
From those early revival meetings grew DeSoto First Assembly of God, a church shaped by prayer, perseverance, and a passion for reaching people with the hope of Christ. Over the decades, our congregation has held tightly to values that continue to guide us: authentic community, biblical truth, Spirit-empowered living, and a heart for the lost.
In 2023, the Lord stirred a fresh vision in the hearts of Pastor Troy and Michelle Coke, leading them to DeSoto to shepherd this historic congregation into a new season. What began as DeSoto First Assembly has now become Revive Church, a name that reflects both our heritage and our calling.
